Bus travel arrangements for closure of Trinity Rd, Piccadilly from 18th to 29th June 2018

Due to works being carried out on the above road, the 15/16 and 766/767 buses will be unable to serve the village for the duration. During these times please make arrangements with a local taxi company to travel from Piccadilly to your destination and back and you will be reimbursed.

Reimbursement will only be paid for journeys on the above dates, between Piccadilly and anywhere else that the bus you require serves, during the times that the bus normally operates only and any return journey under the same conditions. A receipt MUST be obtained from the Taxi company for the journey and sent to Passenger Transport Dept, Transport Operations, Warwickshire County Council, PO Box 43, Shire Hall, Warwick, Warwickshire. CV34 4SX. Please include your name, address, contact telephone number and your bank details (bank name, sort code and account no). Please mark the envelope CONFIDENTIAL. Reimbursements will be paid via bank transfer as soon as possible. No reimbursement will be paid without an official receipt from a licenced Taxi company. Warwickshire County Council cannot be held responsible for any items lost in the post.

A very successful day was enjoyed on May 7th from 11.30am.  Kingsbury and Cliff Residents' Group  organised many activities and stalls on the Parish Recreation Ground, Kingsbury.  Well done to all involved.

Kingsbury Parish Council

Kingsbury Parish Council first met in January 1895.  In the hundred plus years since, we have built a swimming pool and are the only parish council in the country to have done so.


The civil parish consists of Kingsbury, Hurley, Wood End and Piccadilly.  Smaller settlements include Bodymoor Heath, Cliff and Whateley.

The Warwickshire CAVA is very active in Kingsbury and all the surrounding villages.

Basically it acts as a sort of umbrella group for anyone who runs (or is thinking of running) any sort of volunteer or community group.  CAVA can advise on setting up a group, staying within the law, getting funding or grants, looking after the books and paperwork, and all the other administrative issues that might arise.

CVS development workers visit Kingsbury regularly, and "outreach" sessions are held in Kingsbury at frequent intervals where people can get free advice.
